How Mystic Messenger Helped Me Through a Breakup.

At some point we all go through a break up. I went through one some time ago now but I had been with the guy for two years. It hurt, it was difficult and at the time I was so wrapped up in the relationship that I could barely see a future ahead of me.

The first few days were the absolute worst. When you have been with someone for so long, in one way or another everything reminds you of them. I'm not ashamed to say that I burst into tears in the middle of ASDA because I saw a multipack of wotsits. You make weird connections.

After understanding I would always have wonderful memories of what I once had, once I had sorted my head out to not pine after what could have been for too long, I decided I needed to hunt down some distractions because I had a few days off work. I couldn't buy anything new because everything I wanted was written down on a wishlist that I threw at my family, telling them my birthday was coming round. So I had to look for other stuff.

Positive Vibes Today.

The past week or so has brought immense change to my life, both good and bad. I've had to put a lot in to perspective and it has really altered my outlook.

I don't particularly want to lecture anyone on that today, though. I just want to share a few short words of wisdom.

A Lifetime Quest: My Top 5 Bucket List Dreams

After watching a vet programme on TV recently, it made me remember thinking about what I wanted to be when I grew up when I was younger. What I wanted to do. As a kid my first real goal was to be a vet. Cuddling puppies and kittens; yup, it sounded perfect. Then my mum pointed out it wasn't all smiles and fluff.

Some hard truths later, I also wanted to be an actor, a singer, a secretary and an author. I really, really want to be an author. That won't change but it's early in my life and there's so much more I want to be and do.

Ever heard of Fanfiction? You should have!

Fanfictions are a bit of a marmite topic. You either think they're great or you think they're a pointless waste of time. Personally, I'm of the former opinion. For those of you who don't know, a fanfiction is a piece of fiction written using pre-existing characters or situations in a new story.

For example, a story about Thor falling in love with Black Widow and whisking her away to Asgard, or the cast of Ugly Betty suddenly waking up in Narnia.

Cat cafes have been popping up all over the world recently and who doesn't want that? The chance to chill with a cake and a drink, surrounded by some feline friends.

A cat cafe opened in Manchester on July 20th 2016, High St. in the northern quarter. I had no idea what to expect when I visited, but it's safe to say I was far from disappointed.
